The Creality Ender 5 S1 is a sturdy cube printer with a bunch of major improvements over the former FDM models of the brand by equipping an all-metal hot-end, direct drive, auto bed leveling, and a beefier, reinforced frame. 

Instead of being a Core XY machine, where the X and Y axis are driven together by belts, the Ender-5 S1 features a frame that is similar to the former but is definitely a lot smoother.  The print volume of the Ender 5 S1 is similar to that of the Ender 3 S1 (with a bonus 10mm in height) but is more stable on the Z axis and more compact, giving credit to the fact that the print bed moves up and down, rather than back and forth. 

Running at a blazing speed of 250 mm/s, the printer delivers quality results off the print bed even at max velocity.  With the hot end being all metal "Sprite', the Ender 5 S1 hits temperatures up to 300 Celsius Degrees so as to expand the compatible filament range from run-of-the-mill filaments such as PLA, TPU, and PETG to more professional materials such as ABS, PC, ASA, HIPS, Polycarbonates, nylon, and various carbon fiber-reinforced blends.

Each X/Y/Z axis of the Creality Ender-5 S1 3D Printer is driven by a high-precision stepper motor. A steel transmission shaft syncs the two Y-axis belts. High-torque Y-axis 42-48 motor for responsive and precise motion.

Stand Firmly to Print Quality Models

Creality Ender-5 S1 features an all-metal cube frame combined with the classic Cartesian structure. The stability is thus enhanced by thick linear shafts, extra gussets, two cantilevers, and silicone bed mounts.

Direct Extrusion Adapted to Flexible Filaments

Creality Ender-5 S1 equips an all-metal "Sprite" direct extruder featuring dual gears of a 1:3.5 gear ratio. It delivers a powerful and uniform 80N extrusion force. Way better when printing with flexible filaments like TPU.

Hotend for High-temp Printing

Titanium Alloy Heatbreak: Low thermal conductivity for blocking heat creep. Able to tame up to 300 Celsius Degrees. Corrugated Heatsink:  2.5 times surface area that is rapidly air-cooled by a silent axial flow fan.                      Large Melting Chamber:  50mm³ melting chamber surrounded by a large 4000mm³ heater block. It fully melts the filament for smooth feeding.

Get a Cool Model Promptly

The special "Urus" air ducts channel the strong wind generated by a large 5015 fan to cool the freshly printed section directly.

The deposited hot material will harden and bond up immediately, thus less drooping or warping caused by overheating. It gives better overhangs, bridges, and more details overall.
